If your labs came back normal and you still don’t feel like yourself — this site exists for you.
Most health information about women in their forties and fifties is built around two things: diagnosing disease, or selling a solution. Neither of them spends much time in the territory in between — where labs are technically normal, where symptoms don’t have a clean name, and where the standard advice (sleep more, stress less, eat better) doesn’t move the needle the way it used to.
That territory is where Serenis Naturals was built. We call it the Normal Gap.
What We Do
We are a research-translation publisher. We read peer-reviewed science on hormonal health, supplement mechanisms, gut function, and the biology of midlife. We translate it into plain language, organised around the patterns that women in perimenopause and menopause actually experience.
We do not diagnose. We do not prescribe. We do not claim to test products personally. What we claim is this: we follow the mechanism honestly, we name the limitations before the recommendations, and we tell you who a supplement is likely to help alongside who it isn’t.
The People Behind the Writing
Sarah Mitchell, Senior Editor, writes the long-form research pieces. Her focus is the translation layer between published science and practical decision-making — what the study actually showed, what it didn’t, and what it means for the woman reading it at 11pm trying to work out what’s happening to her body.
Maya Reed, Narrative Health Editor, writes the short-form pieces. Her work opens with a scene you’ve already lived and closes with something you carry away. Where Sarah explains the mechanism, Maya names the experience before the explanation arrives.
Our Editorial Standard
“Said straight, no spin. In plain English. What actually works, not what’s trending. For real mornings, not theory.”
The Serenis editorial commitment
Some of our articles contain affiliate links. We earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. We link only to products formulated around the mechanisms we’ve described, and we state specifically who each product is not for before we recommend it to anyone.
If you’ve been told your results are normal but you still don’t feel like yourself — start with the Energy Detective Guide. It’s free. It maps the five patterns most common in women in their forties and fifties. And it gives you a language for the conversation you probably haven’t been able to have yet.
